The Way Back is a new modern restaurant focused on cultivating relationships with local farmers. Incorporating "Getting back to the way things used to be" into modern design was done with materials of the craftsman era. All the concrete work, including the sinks, were hand made, the bar was hand made from a single Maple tree harvested in Wheat Ridge, CO, and the exterior gabion wall is filled with rocks that are commonly laid on train tracks. Additionally the tables, chairs, and stools were all custom made.
