This project was designed for a disabled service veteran and his service dog. The goal was to highlight and refine key design elements that help both the service dog and the disabled veteran with day to day activities. A strong connection outdoors along with a massive concrete trombe wall allow the client to feel both protected from the busy street side while also connected with the serenity of nature. The house was awarded 1st place in the graduate design competition for outstanding design, sustainable design and affordability.
